- Apply for registration in the Social Security system. Access the SEDESS
- In the section for Mutual collaborator to cover professional contingencies (AT and EP) indicate FREMAP 061, mark Temporary disability (if applicable).
1. Ask to cancel your membership with your current Mutual Society at least one month before your membership expires, through:
- Cancellation request letter, expressly identifying the signatory in the company: name, national ID number, and position.
2. According to the First Transitory Provision of RD 1622/2011, the company must obtain the non-binding report from the workers' committee or staff representatives, unless such bodies do not exist:
- Report from the Workers' Committee or Staff Representatives (if there is a committee).
- Certification that there is no worker representation (if there is none).
3. Fill in the application to join FREMAP with your company's data.
4. Obtain a Certificate of cancellation from your previous Mutual Society.
5. Submit the following documentation to the TGSS via CASIA (RED System User Support Service):
- Cancellation certificate issued by the previous mutual society that was covering the contingencies.
- Proposal to Join FREMAP signed and stamped by the company.
- Some delegations of the aforementioned Body could request a photocopy of the DNI or power of attorney of the signatory to the request to join.
Once the procedure is completed, the change will be effective starting on the day after the date specified in the cancellation certificate.
Under Forms / Other forms / Information for becoming a FREMAP member you will find the documents needed to perform the procedures directly.
- Request the termination of your membership from the INSS by submitting the termination request document to your TGSS delegation at least one month before the expiry date of the partnership agreement.
- Fill the application to join FREMAP.
If you also wish to have FREMAP cover for the Economic Benefit for Common Contingencies, you must fill in the Annexe to the membership document.
- Submit the Association Proposal with FREMAP to the General Treasury of Social Security, along with the previously submitted cessation request document.
- Send a copy of the documentation submitted to the Social Security Treasury to your nearest FREMAP office.
Once the procedure has been completed, the change will be effective starting on the day after the date specified in the cancellation certificate.
