Direct payment is a method by which the worker receives the financial benefit for temporary incapacity resulting from occupational contingencies directly from the Mutual Insurance Company, instead of receiving it through the company.

  • Termination of the employment relationship or suspension in the case of fixed-term intermittent workers.
  • The benefit payment is not received from the company.
  • Having exhausted the 545-day period of sick leave.
  • This refers to a worker excluded from receiving delegated payment, such as, for example:
    • Trade Representatives
    • Artists
    • Bullfighting professionals
    • Agricultural workers
    • Domestic worker(s)
    • Workers in groups 2 and 3 of the Special Regime for Seafarers.
  • Being on furlough/temporary layoff
  • Being in a situation of partial retirement.
  • A relapse occurs while unemployed.
