FREMAP’s Social Work team took an active part in the 2025 Social Work and Health Congress, held from 13 to 15 November in Valladolid, further reinforcing its leadership in providing comprehensive, human-centred care to patients.
With humanisation as the central focus of sociosanitary intervention, FREMAP professionals presented innovative initiatives that combine emotional support, interdisciplinary coordination, and psychosocial assistance in the recovery processes of workers who have suffered accidents or have occupational illnesses. They also highlighted professional self-care through the social workers’ intervision project, an initiative that promotes supervised case exchange to strengthen the team’s emotional wellbeing and ensure sustainable, high-quality care.
“At FREMAP, humanization is not an add-on, it is the core of our intervention,” declared Lourdes Belda, Director of the Social Work Area of FREMAP.
FREMAP’s participation in this congress reaffirms its commitment to a collaborative mutual insurance model that goes beyond healthcare provision, positioning itself as a benchmark in the integration of Social Work within occupational health.
