The Child Care Benefit for Minors Affected by Cancer or Another Serious Illness (CUME) is financial aid intended for parents, adoptive parents or foster parents who need to reduce their working hours by 50% or more in order to directly, continuously and permanently care for a minor child affected by one of the serious illnesses included in Order TMS/103/2019, of February 6. This benefit compensates for the loss of income that occurs as a result of this reduction.
We accompany you throughout the entire process, offering guidance, social assistance and streamlined processing of benefits.
Management of documentation for financial assistance.
If you have already agreed with your company to reduce your working hours:
It can be perceived until the minor turns 23, provided the pathology was diagnosed before the age of 18. Furthermore, this maximum age may be extended to 26 years if a degree of disability greater than 65% is accredited, recognized before the age of 23, and provided that the pathology has also been diagnosed before the age of 18.
